does anyone have experience with black spot foxfaces i would really like a fish that has some color and doenst get to big. I have a 90 gallon with a 30 gallon refugium gravity feed. i have two saddle back clowns a pajama cardnel fish and a lawnmower blenny. I really dont want to overstock my aquarium and i really odnt want to keep a fish in to small of a aquarium. I have 90 pounds of live rock and a large macroalgae assortment growing in my refugium and aquarium. I have a form of brown algae also to which i hear they love. I really would like some experience help on this i am really conscious on the fish i add and if i can provide enough for them.

They are one of those sometimes fish. I've kept a couple over the years primarily to keep the algae in check but they didnt do a real good job at that. The first developed a taste for clam and before I knew what was pestering him had killed it. The second simply got to big and was starting to pick at some of my other corals. If your just looking for a colorful fish try a royal gamma, real nice and hasn't bugged a single coral, kind of shy though.

I would do a royal gramma but they are from the alantic and a need fish from the pacific. The reef is a western pacific reef crest biotype. So as you can see i have decided against teh royal gramma's. Does anyone else have a opinion. Thank you for the response though DRT.
