asm g3 , funny noise ????

It's recently become noisy. The noise is coming from the air intake. Sounds like a person getting the last amount of liquid from a glass using a straw. Sluuuuuuuuuuuuurp! other than this everything else is working fine. thx in advance

how long has it been running... it could be that the venturi is clogged.. has it been acting funny like overflowing every once in a while... if so check it and just put a toothpick in there and push all the salt and whatever stuck in there out... (the black grey piece attached to the pump)

its been running about 3 months and everything is working fine other than the funny noise (its fairly new) but i will try to clean it like you said . thx
