I purchased 100lbs of aq Florida Live rock. Now I have numerous species of calerpas, money plants, red alga, etc. growing. I would like to keep most of this algae but I dont want algae overgrowing the tank.

I would like to know what algivores people use that will trim the algae at the rate it grows. Any suggestions on how to achieve this ratio would be appreciated. In prior reefs I just eliminated the alga with algivores but I want to keep alga in this tank.

I say let them grow for a while, get a head start. 'Cuz if you get a tang or other herbivores, your macro algae could be gone in matter of days! Besides, macro algae keeps other nuiance micro algae and cynobacterias at bay.
