dual temp controller searching...best option??!!

ok, been searching for quite a while for a dual temp controller to run my heater and a little 2 3/4 in computer fan on my 10gal nano so i don't ever have to worry about the temp.

so, what are my best options

i know where i can get a ranco dual controller for $68 but that means i have to add to plugs (not a big deal)...not quite sure what the concensus is on these yet...just not sure about the probe they have.

or i found a dual temp controller at championlighting for like $159 wired w/ a good probe but i don't think i could justify spending 100more bucks for that.

so options please. also, comments on the DIY ranco style ones. is the probe a problem or wireing it.

Ranco imo are very good controllers. I have had mine for 3 years on my chiller. I know about four other hobbyist using them for a while. I also have
used the MEDUSA which worked good when it worked I had to send back for repair to manuf in CA.
It never worked the same again. I think the medusa is the one Perry/champion sells. You can get the Ranco from GRAINGER for fairly inexpensive
