I have a mated pair of moroon clowns in my 90 gallon. Will the clowns go after a pair of banggai cards?? Anyone have any experience with them together? Also would moroons cause a prob with some gobies ie watchman gobie or some other type of sand dwelling gobie? Thanks in advance for the responses.

Mine all get along fine. I have a matted pair of clowns and cardinals. The clowns hang out in the anemone and the cardinals stay in the back by the rocks.

Hi:
Both should be fine together as they will get out of each others way.
Now if your talkign about breeding these fish i can tell you that a pair of clowns will not tolerate banggais in the same area and vice versa.
But for now w/ single animals your fine.

FMarini,

Will a mated pair of moroons not tolerate any other fish? Or do they just not like the banggai pairs? I was hoping to get them both to breed in the same tank but guess that is not possible.

Hi:
if the tank is big enuf they will allow each other to co-exisit and to breed. But once either of them breed they don't tolerate other fish in there territory.
The clowns usually will chase away fish which venture in, and if your tank is small then the running fish have few places to go.
Banggais also do this as well, but the female will usually harass and chase away anyfish whih "get to close" to the brooding male. Again in a large tank this is possible... in a small tank, its get interesting.
You can try it and see what happenes, just mak sure your able to rescue anyfish which are getting beat on
HTH
