I recently caught a hitchhiker crab that had been munching on the tips of my SPS. I have him in a bottle in the sump. I am afraid to release him in the sump because he could get caught in the pumps intake. Hes pretty cool looking but I am about ready to give him the death penalty for his crimes.I should go plant him in the fish store tank for all the times they ripped me off!!Just kidding.

Take him to the LFS. They may want him or can at least find him a home. If not I doubt he will end up in your intake.

Fishy,

What's he look like? I found one not too long ago that was sort of Rose-pink with hairy white and red banded legs and small claws. He is about 1/2 inch long, and he greets me briefly every morning when I flip on the dimmer switch, then walks sideways under the edge of a rock into a hole.

Mine was an ugly black one with hairy legs I doubt if the fish store or any one else would want it. you really dont think he will get sucked in the intake I figured the likely hood was high that he would.
