I'm going to get a RO unit for our well water. I need something that does 30 - 50 gal a day. Can I have your opinion on what you guys think is the best? thanks

There's plenty of brands out there, but i'm a big fan of Kent's Hi-S Maxxima r/o di units. They come in 35 and 65 gpd models and work great. HTH

I second the HI-s Kent Marine Maxxima. I have the 35 gpd and wish it was the 65. Get the 65 and youll be set. Id add on a quality meter and flush kit though. If you have the money also get a auto off float switch kit, it WILL save you from a flood.

I have been happy with my SpectraPure, but any of the quality brands out there should do just fine.

Lynn, since you are using well water, I would highly suggest giving the R/O manufacturer a call. You may have a ton of iron or TDS that will severely shorten the life of your cartridges.
Do you get staining on any of your sinks or bathroom fixtures?

I also have the 35gpd Kent Hi-S RO/DI and use it for my well water. Got it from Champion Lighting and the sale price was great, got more for my money when compared to the other brands. Unless you have a 300g tank, I think 35 gpd is more than adequate, unless you only want to make water once weekly.
