First off, really nice corals. I was wondering how you keep the chiller dry when it rains or snows?
Hey, it also looks like a prime candidate for another reef burglar to steal that thing.
I agree very nice rock work, I like the caves you created using the slab rock. Looks like it will grow in very nicely. The chiller outside must be a great way to displace the heat it creates. Did you set up your sand bed as a plenum? I thought I saw some screen.
Now bear in mind that this tank was an upgrade for my 90g (which I no longer have) Also these are the first pics w/my Nikon995, which I love
And as far as the most recent hardware upgrads I have installed a chiller now inline with my closed loop, The chiller is a 1/2HP CSL PowerCooler with electronic temperature control and LCD readout here is some pics of the plumbing
And ontop of the 2 - 1" SS's fed by the AM3000 and the AM2100 on my return I put 4 - MJ1200's in there and put them on a Wavestrip.....Lemme tell ya....Im spent....financially and physically on this tank......but so far Im fairly pleased as to how it has worked out....Oh yeah I also put 2 - 25watt incadescent bulbs in the hood for moonlighting
Over 60% of the LR in there was made by me! Known as aragocrete aka lace rock....It is very porous and there is coralline and even corals growing all over it after 3 mos. The rest of the rock is from my 90 gal which is mostly Marshal Island and fiji.

Yes I have eggcrate to keep the majority of my LR off the SB. My maroon clown LOVES to fan the SB and totally re-engineer the aquascaping...so this will confine him
I have cut out some of the eggcrate where its not supporting anything....As I have been told by Dr. Shimek that this will prevent horizontal migration of critters in your SB.
