Hey Steve,

Keep up the good work. It's rare to see someone with an appreciation for gorgonians, and even rarer to see that they have gorgonians that have symbionts like other common corals.

Looking Good!

Very nice Steve -- it's always cool to see a tank that has a 'theme'.

Thanks folks for the great compliments. I have some other pictures (closer) but I did not want to post them till I figure out how to make the picture smaller so you don't have to scroll. Can someone help me out on this?
GPH = 2200
Tank = 180
Sump/Refugium = 75
I want the tank to be a biotope Carribean, unfortunately I had a few fish and corals from my original tank that are not from this area. I will continue working towards this theme in the future.

So you really have created a gorgonian biotope! Congratulation! It would be nice if you would try to move the sargassum to the back wall. It's kinda blocking the views.

Are you having problem sleeping at night with all the noise and occasional wet carpet?

Whoo Hoo Steve! Nice!

Judging by the curtains, and the pretty bed where you take your naps, I'm guessing that that's your workshop?

Wow, those gorgonians are growing out of the tank and drying up! Oh, wait.... Hmmm....

Nice tank Steve, gorgonian's rock! I see that the tank's in your bed-room. My 120 is right next to the bed like that, i'm so used to the noise I have to have a really loud alarm right next to my bed or i'll just sleep forever. Nice isn't it?

Great tank!

Thanks everyone, somehow I knew that Dan and Mitch would notice the bed
icon_wink.gif
. No problems with wet floors in the B/R (due to the tank
icon_wink.gif
) Dan, and the noise is not to bad, the sump is in another room.
HELP, are one of you computer (I'll be nice) guys going to help me figure out how to make the picture smaller on the thread?

Mitch, yes I used picturelist, but how do you know what to reduce it to? BTW, isn't this typical, 1 carpenter trying to help another with a computer problem.

Hmmm...well I'd say try taking a hammer to it, but I did that to my last computer, and it did reduce the size of the picture...to little bitty tiny pieces!
icon_biggrin.gif

Isn't there an option to reduce it to 25% or more?

Great pic Steve. I got the priviledge of seeing this tank in person and the whole system is just amazing. Steve did a top notch job.

Steve, you should post some pics of your refugium too. It's equally impressive.

Steve, you are not using the MACs are you? I would suppose you are using Windows 98, and I further assume you have Office installed. In your computer there may be a simple photo editor that comes with Windows called "Microsoft Photo Editor"

* Go to Start,
* Click on Find --> File or Folder,
* In the "names", type in "photo" (without the quotation marks), down below at "look in" for the directory selection, click on the down arrow to bring up a list of selections, and select My Computer, and click on the "find now"

If lucky, you will see a list of files and folders with the name "photo" in it
* Browse down until you see a file called "photoed.exe" with a colored icon to the left of it, click on it once to highlight it, and right click to bring up a list of actions, click on "send to", and choose "Desktop". This will create a shortcut of the program on your desktop.
* Minimize your open windows and click on the shortcut you have just created to launch the program.
* After you have loaded a image into the program, Use "image" --> "Resize" to edit your picture.

Good Luck!
