OK so I feel like an idiot because I took my Kent RO apart to replace the ro membrane and forgot which outlet was for waste water and good water. Could someone please help a guy out?

Mine's an RO/DI system, so the colors might be a little different because of the DI part, but the yellow line comes from the prefilters to the end of the housing with one connection. At the other end of the housing, the orange line is the waste line to the sink and that hooks up to "off-center" connection. The other connection is the filtered water -- yellow on my system, but maybe blue on yours.

You know what...your right.I also realized that the waste water outlet pours out the water faster then the filtered water outlet. Thankyou!

Or goes to a collection bin to irrigate your lawn, your spouse, and your dog....

I am considering getting an r/o unit and have no idea how they work. I'm afraid I won't know how to work it right once i finally get one. Where does the wasted water drain into?
