Do your corals get Moody?

just been wonderin...

some of my corals get a little moody sometimes, even when my water is fine.

sometimes they shrink for no reason and then open up 10 minutes later.
this is usually few hours before lights go out at night.

Does your coral do that?

some of my xenias been pulsing all day and then shrink for a while and then pulse again.
But next day all corals are fully open and look great.

wonderin why they do such things to scare me in the beginning.

My corals occasionly close up to take a crap.

Sometimes they get real moody when I leave for days w/o telling them.

Mine tend to close up just before I get home and start sticking my hands in the tank (what do you mean "Pavlov's dog?")

My toadstool closes up for 5 or 6 days at a time each month while is busy making slime.

If I have to touch up against my yellow leather for some reason it will sometimes close up for a day or two. Hmmmm....sometimes my wife does that too.
