Hi,
I registered yesterday and have gotten around to posting just now.

I have a 125g saltwater w/ fish only -- No live rock yet. I have 2 damsels, 3 yellow tangs (3 inches), a starfish and a percula clown. On Thursday, I lost my flame angel and another damsel to ich

I also lost my other clown to a hermit crab, so the hermit crab went back to the store. He also had to go because he started chewing my starfishes legs off

I am 25 and married. Hubby and I live in Arizona. We also have a 600g freshwater tank. We have 5 cats, too.

Freckles,

How long has your tank been up? What kind of filtration do you use? What is your temperature at? How much does it fluctuate?

WHAT THE HECK DO YOU HAVE IN A 600 GAL FW TANK!!?

and also, welcome!

Wow ! 600 gal
icon_eek.gif

My tank is never big enough. First thing I would do is make the 600 into a reef and the 125 into a sump/refug.

What are the dims on the 600?
What type of fish are in it?

How long has your tank been up? since September 2001

What kind of filtration do you use? Prizm skimmer (I know....); Fluval 404; 2 Penguin 125 powerheads. I had (well still have) 2 Emperors 400's, but they are in the garage. I am thinking of adding one back one for extra filtration til I can get the live rock. What do you all think?

What is your temperature at? stays at 80 How much does it fluctuate? doesn't fluctuate

WHAT THE HECK DO YOU HAVE IN A 600 GAL FW TANK!!? 2 red-belly pacus, clownknife, 3 oscars, 2 jack demseys, firemouth, and convict, and some bottom feeders. Oh, and if I could get rid of the pacus and all of the freshwater fish, believe me, I would turn it into a reef tank!!! Dimensions are 8X4X3

and also, welcome! Thanks for the welcome, everyone! You seem all very nice!

Welcome to the board!!!

600 gallon reef...WOW, I would have to quit going to work because it has really been cutting into my reefing time lately, haha. That would be a lot of fun to build.
