"Must have saltwater tank for this coral to survive!! "

Come on guys, lets start bidding, because " This auction is for the Pink Branch coral in picture(auction for actual coral in pic). Nice size coral that you can frag and double your profit!! " What a deal!

http://cgi.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1288098507

How many corals do you think have died because unsuspecting buyers eagerly bought nice "flower pot polyps" or somethign of that nature and threw it in their fish only with a single NO? This frightens me, can anyone find the part on e-bay to report stuff like this, the links brought me back to where i came from a few times, just cant find it! It says explicitly that no live animals can be sold on e-bay. Check out the other auctions too, it's pretty sad.

I've tried complaining to ebay on numerous occasions about saltwater livestock. Several months ago there was a woman in Puerto Rico selling corals illegally taken from the caribbean (at least as far as I could determine; the FWS office I contacted informed me that was the case) and even providing documentation of that wasn't enough to get ebay to take any action -- or even to respond to me.

That's odd I reported someone selling about a 2' shark on ebay and they responded immediately.

Does that mean LR is considered live animals also?
Just curious as I see many selling them especially with whole tank setups!
