Well just finished moving to our new house. I finnally got my 180 gal reef over and set it up. I geuss it was a good move, but my back will never be the same. I lost about 7 acro's and my live sand seems to not have much life left. My refrugium totally died ( I geuss leaving it on the sidewalk and forgeting to load it into the truck might have something to do with that). Good news is that my plumbing has improved and I managed to kill all the culurpa that was infesting the tank.

mobrien,

Just moved into our new house two weeks ago also. Know what you mean about the back. Luckily I have a small tank, so it wasn't too bad, but worse than I remembered from the last move.

If your sand appears dead and you lost your macro, I'd keep an eye on your nutrients for a while and any spike that my raise its ugly head.

Luckily, my tank looks much better after the move. I think in the rescaping I was able to getter better flow in certain areas.

Yea my nutrients are going up. starting to get some algae blooms. I just ordered a detrovore kit from ispf and replaced the snail populations. The tank looks good and the corals that made it are perking up. Man I tell you I have about 50 peices of a varity of corals, just moving that was a job in its self.

thanks

Not on topic, but it looks like homestead is doing the same thing to you that geocities has been doing to me with your webpage. Geocities suspends mine every week or so because of all the traffic this bb is generating for it (not that I mind, it's pretty cool IMO to have a website that has been accessed over 1000 times in just a couple of months!). They keep on telling me I need to upgrade, but I figure traffic is cyclical, and why start paying when I can get it for free?
