I've had my Tomatos for about 2 months now and they barely even swimming or doing anything together. One of the clowns is definately larger than the other. So I was hoped it changed to a female or do something.

Oh well, the good thing is that they're not aggressive toward each other. Just proves that dating is a *****... lol

How long did it your clowns to be a "couple" ?

i have had my clowns together for about 10 months now. the first 6 months they fought each other constantly, i had to seperate them for fear that one would die. now one has grown larger, and particularly more dominant, while the other is shy and more submissive. they dont fight anymore, but the female does enjoy chasing off the smaller male. he does his best to fend her off with his vibrations and such, but he still gets pieces removed from his fins.

one day though
i hope they will both sit in their anemone and enjoy each others presence. but not yet.
not yet....

What other type of fish are in this tank? Some times aggresive fish can prevent "dating".

My clowns have been together for 3 years now. My female just laid eggs and the male is fanning the eggs. When I bought the mated pair I thought it would be cool if they would mate but I never thought it would take so long. In 7 days the eggs should hatch.
