Probably not but ...... can you keep more than one pair of mated clowns in the same tank? I have a 55 with a pair of maroons and want to add some percs. TIA

I tried and dident have any luck the Maroon Clowns always chased the percs away. So I had to get rid of the Maroons. Good Luck!

Not a good idea in that small of a tank with maroons already established. Possibly in a larger tank (6' or longer) you could make this work, but not in a 55g. Odds are that the female maroon would kill or stress the smaller perculas.

i tried adding a large clarkii to a 75g with a perc already established. the clarkii took over. it wasn't good. i'm trying for a peaceful tank.

I don't think ocellaris would have much a chance against a PO'd female maroon. Two peaceable species might get along, but maroons aren't exactly known for their cheerful friendly and forgiving dispositions.
