Whats up people I am replacing the bulbs in my 2 light strip and wanted some opinions what bulbs I should get. Currently I have one actintic and one triton but I think that these bulbs are leading to an algae problem. Anyways I want a change. So what should I get? Thank you for your input

What you are asking is really a matter of opinion. I just swapped my NO lights out from over my 75 awhile ago. I had an actinic, a 50/50, a 10000K and a 20000K.

If I had to chose just 2 bulbs I would have kept the actinic and 10000K without hesitation. However, people like different levels of the actinic in the tank and if you feel it is too blue already then go with the 50/50.

Just my opinion,

On a fish only it makes absolutely no difference. Go with whatever you feel looks best. Algae is rarely if ever an issue with the bulbs unless they are very old.

FYI: your specs indicate you need to raise your salinity and tank temp. 1.025 and 80-82 degrees.
