Rubbermaid R/O filter?

I was at HD and saw they had Rubbermaid R/O membranes for $5. yes five bucks. (clearance prices.) Does anyone know the specs, and could I use one on my Aqua FX unit?

Are you sure they were Rubbermaid?

I bought some Culligan RO membranes from Home Depots clearance rack. Didn't see any Rubbermaid membranes.

Hello All,

I asked our engineer, no one here has ever heard of rubbermaid membranes, but if they fit in your housing they will probably work. The only problem I can see is the flow restrictor, It has to match the GPD rating of the membrane.

I imagine rubbermaid has just private labeled the membranes you bought!

Unfortunatly, I do not have enough pressure (I live on the top floor of my building) and have the R/O membrane bypassed on my unit. So I have a glorified DI.

Anyone from NYC, the $5 membranes were at the Queens HD.
