I picked one of these up today at fish store in Chico. I had really been wanting to get one of these but was too lazy to order it over the internet and my LFS never carries stuff like this. So when I saw it down in Chico while I was at school I snatched it up. It was the only one they had so I bought it right away. The only thing I am now worried about is that on their website it says that it is rated for 25-75 gallon aquariums. My new corner tank is 92 gallons. Is this going to be a problem? Can I just get a bigger pump? I really love this skimmer; it fits perfectly into my sump, maks no noise at all, has an extra large cup, and I have always wanted to try out the spray induction skimmers.

you should have gotten the Pro, the regular one says 25-75, the pro is made for up to 120 gal tank, I suggest you bring it back, eventually this skimmer will not be efficient for a 92 gal tank and you will have to junk it=throwing away $, think and evaluate before you shop for a skimmer, the guy in the store should have told you this skimmer is not big enough for youre tank, apparently they did not , don't care about the customer just the customers wallet, cya and do what I told you, bring it back pronto.

the new models come with a maxijet1200 (better pump) insted of the rio800, and the pro comes with a MAG3, and no you can not add a mag3 to the regular urchin, you need the urchinpro to do that, cya.
