I feel the need to change my skimmer from a Berlin Turbo. Possibly not the hardest decision I have ever made.
Due to the nature of my sump and cabinet (cabinet is too short for a AP600, water in the sump too deep for a turbo) I have turned my attention to other skimmers, and would be grateful for people's comments. I think I can fit either of the Tunze designs into my sump, and am curious to know whether these are good skimmers and what problems people have with them.
Are there any other makes I should be considering? I could conceivably get one from the US as my brother is visiting shortly. (i'm in the UK)
Do you have good kit that we don't have access to here?
Incase it helps this is what my (empty) sump looks like. The height of the water is 33cm and the clearance above water is 23 cm.
