I have a CustomSeaLife Inc. PrismPendant light that has 1 250w Iwasaki Metal Halide lamp 6500K
2 32w Actinic lights 5500K in it. The PrismPendant comes with a fan on the right side of the fixture. The fan comes on when the actinics do and shuts off with them also. The fan works fine but is very loud. It has been loud since I bought it but I never questioned the noise until now. I can hardly hear my TV or anything else over the high pitched whining that this fan makes. Is this normal? If it is normal is there any way to replace it with a quieter AC Fan? Thanks for the info.
