usually once a day using one of the following method.

Put some flake in the tank
Put some flake in a shot glass and add some selcon. let it soak for an hour (or until I remember) and dump in tank
Throw a piece of cyclopeeze in the sump and let the water/pump thaw it and distribute it.
Thaw a piece of mysis out in the sink (no I don't use RO) and dump in tank.

And that's once a day if I remember. . .

......Thaw a piece of mysis out in the sink (no I don't use RO) and dump in tank......

Aren't you worried about leaving a chunk of mysis in your sink to defrost and then feed to your fish? Between dishwashing liquid, old food, and Comet residue that remains even with a good rinse, I'm not sure I would trust my sink surface to thaw food resting on it to feed myself.:shocked1:

I usually feed once a day.

I fed once a day - but I FED! and did it over a hour or so of time. Meaning, I would feed a little, then 15 mins a little more and then more etc. this way they would eat and relax, eat and elax instead of eating, then relaxing with all the food still in the water column - at least all the food was eaten and didn't have a chance to rot.

I feed twice a day. Once early in the day with either flake or pellets. Then once more later with a smorgasboard of frozen (mysis, daphnia, bloodworms, rotifers, enriched brine, ocean plankton, cyclopeeze).

Sometimes I'll even do a 2 am feeding of cyclopeeze & rotifers for the nightime filter feeders.

i feed my 16g one a day at night - pretty much only cyclopeeze and phyto. maybe I should add some variety?

I take a shot glass, add some cyclo and phyto and tank water- and feed over 10-15 mins of time to allow everything time to eat.
