Just for all you skimmer war people.. hehe..
Replaced my Ev-200 yesterday with a PM Bullet 2. Was running the Ev-200 on a Y from a sedra 12000 (1200gph 19ft max head), and used the same pump for the bullet 2. The bullet 2 broke in and started skimming within the hour, and has already pulled a significant amount of crud in the time since. The EV-200 has been relegated to live rock curing duty, and will never see the light of the front room again. I've never understood the Aqua-C bandwagon... it's a very cheaply made skimmer that does work on a moderately well level, but is priced like a high end skimmer. Anywhoo, I've run the aqua-c on 3 different systems, and there is no way it compares to any becket driven skimmer... and it lacks a waste collector option. If you like overpriced extruded acrylic and "adequate" skimming.. buy an aqua-c. If you like beefy cell cast acrylic and awesome skimming... for about the same price.. buy a bullet.
System is a 90 gallon SPS with a 50 gallon rubbermaid SPS attatched.
