Are these pumps worth the money? Do you have to have a pump to work them or are they like the Gemini? I have a Gemini but unable to get parts for it???
toptank, the seaswirls need a pump. Most people use the return pump, or a pump on a closed loop. They rotate by a small motor that's enclosed, and sits on top of the tank. The only thing visible in the tank is the output nozzle.I have two 1" seaswirls on my 180g mounted on the sides (end) of tank.
Mark I have been waiting for you to come down here as I had you a nice room at the marina.
No I have 3 x 250 6,500K w/ 2 x 140 Super Actinic. I have enought air going around the tank believe me
I got only 2 things from Jeff today as I am going to re-stock slowly. 1 montipora I talked him in selling it to me as it was in his display tank. looks nice. Keeping fingers crossed
Barry
PS Mark a plastic part broke and after trying for 6 weeks to get the part, still waiting.....
