Just wondering if anyone else has chitons in their sand beds. I have seen at least four against the glass up two three inches below the surface of the sand. Seem to be doing a good job of moving the sand around as they travel. Had the opportunity to see one coming out of the sand up onto a rock last night. They look a bit different then the ones I typically see that are coraline colored and well defined scalloped backs. This one was rather pale colored the shell and the segments were hard to make out. In fact it pretty muched matched the color of the sand. Would have been easy to miss.
