I have a tenecor 20 gallon acrylic tank.
Everything is setup. But now I need to drill the back for overflow and return.

Can I drill the tank without empty the live rock and sand in there?

Thanks!

I used a dremel tool to drill mine. As long as you do not get too close to any edges or curves you should be OK. Are you drilling with water in the tank and will the holes be below the water line?

Yes, I will be drilling with water in the tank. I am planning to empty out half of the water. I just don't know if the acrylic dust from drilling will mess up the live rocks in the tank.
