IMO I think a 110 is too small for more than 1 pair of clowns.

I have a 125. I have a single Clarke and 2 juv. true percs. I'm hoping the percs will make a pair in 6 months or so. When I added the Clarke to a single perc, they battled for a week or two off and on over who got to sleep in with LTA. When I added the 2nd perc, Clarke was ok because he was used to seeing the look of a perc. Not sure what will happen once I get mated pair. At that point, I probably will have to move the Clarke to a different tank.

So far they get along ok. But my tank is 6' long and only a 125 and I would advise against adding another pair. They will fight.

I second thoughts on maroons, they get 2-3 times size of percs

Do not get maroon if you want to keep other clowns. Do not get more then 1 pair of maroons. Actually, let me rephrase it........don't put more than 1 pair of clown into the tank. 110G is rather small to have more than 1 pair. I would recommend 250G or above to let the pairs establish their own territories.

I have a mated pair of percula clowns. Is it possible to add another pair of say maroon clowns? I added a single tomato clown and he beat the crap out of the other one. This is on a 110 reef.

This question seems to have come up a few times recently. You might want to do some back searches and see what the prevailing wisdom was those times.

I personally wouldn't mix maroons with anything.

I have kept 3 pairs of clowns in a 37 gallon but they were all small tank raised clowns

false percs
tomatoes
clarkis

all fish were tank raised and added in pairs in two week intervals

but i have kept clowns for 5 years and they are definately territorial

as they grew I gave away everything except the percs because even the tank raised ones began fighting

but I would not reccommend doing this with any clowns which are not tank raised as IMO the wild caught ones are more aggressive even in the juvenille stage
