Are there any corals I can keep with a Puffer?

My other half is dying for a puffer. I have just set-up a 180 AGA that was supposed to be a full on reef tank. However, as of right now all i have is a carpet anemone, 2 true perculas and a mimic tang. I know Puffers are not safe with most corals. However, are there any corals that I may keep (maybe SPS, clam or something)? Also, has anyone had any success with Puffers if they are feed regularly? I know people who keep triggers and angels despite them eating corals. They just made sure the fish were very well fed. Please help with any input.

Lol, good luck finding corals that is OK with puffers. Maybe, maybe, maybe, maybe carpet anemone. But I truely think its either puffer got a piece of anemone, or anemone got a piece of puffer..... All depend on how big the puffer is, and how hungry either are.

The point about keeping the puffer well fed.....hehehe..... I had a spiny puffer once, and that sucker are never full. I can drop one krill after another. Its belly just grows bigger and bigger. I can actually see the shapes of the krill sticking out from the belly.

BTW, puffer in Japanese means "pig in the water" Go figure!

I not sure this is for everyone to follow but
I have my 75g that was only fish It has a Snowflake eel, Spiny Puffer, Huma Trigger

I move all my soft corals from my 225g SPS tank into this tank
It has leathers, frogpawn,Hammers even a bunch
of SPS frags a LTA with a clown really a full blown reef now. and I have had no problems with the corals.
Now I can't have any inverts.
The trigger does sometime spit sand on the corals but other than that everything has been fine

Thanks mustang, I knew there had to be some success stories... Howeer, I also know that success is limited and I must experiment on my own. Worst case scenario is he chomps on some SPS and i relocate him or the corals.
