I have recently set up a Jaubert plenum in my 180. The problem is my tomato clown and black lightening damsel keep moving the oolitic and exposing the screen. I think this is allowing too much flow through my plenum.
Mike, do you have the correct set up for an Anenome, I guess you already know this but you don't just purchase one to make your fish happy. Why did your other one die?
Steve
Dose reaally heavy with calcium, I mean really heavy. After about 2 months the sandbed will become one large solid clump, Lets see the little boogers move that around.
I think my anenome died form High nitrates I am running about 22 ppm. I had a DSB for 2 years and could never get it lower than that. About a month ago I went Jaubert and just yesterday shut my skimmer off. While rebuilding my tank I did a 50% water change and my nitrates did not drop at all. Hmmmm, something is wrong here. I tested my supply and had 28 ppm nitrate from my well and 5 ppm after my RO. I have since added a DI and think I will be getting my nitrates down soon.
Hippo, Of course i'm kidding. You should never let your sandbed solidify, What I mean't was to crazy glue their left fins together and watch them swim in circles.
