Ok, so our tank is about 4 weeks old and has completed it's cycling with the live rock. It will be a reef tank with a conservative number of fish for a low biolaod. I am now seeing the beginnings of quite a bit of bubble algea (Valonia sp or similar) around on various rock peices. I'm considering the best way to remove this - as taking the rock out is not very practicle for all 270 pounds. I've heard emerald crabs do well. What's your experience with these?? Will I eventually need to remove them if they get too big? Are they better choices??
Thanks!
