I would buy myself a copy of Scott Michael's marine fish reference book. It tells you all about each species and what the recommended tank sizes are, as well as how hard they are to keep and lots of additional info. I would think with a tank that size you might want to look at some of the smaller gobies or blennies.
3 Chromis will NOT max out your fish load in a 15 gallon full of live rock and live sand. 6 or so small fish would do fine if you didn't go crazy with the feeding. It's always best to er on the light side though.

I'm new to the board. A friend of mine helped me set up a 15 gal. with an eclipse top. We installed a 32w power compact smart light kit to replace the eclipse hood.
The tank has just finished it's cycle and I'm getting ready to stock the tank. I was thinking of starting with (3) green chromis. Any thoughts on how these fish will be in this size of tank.
Also looking for suggestions on adding 1 or 2 more fish to make the tank complete.
I would like to add a sixline some day, but my friend advised me to wait 6 months or more until my reef is well established because the sixline needs an established tank to feed.
The chromis will be just fine. Your friend is right and wrong about the wrasse. A sixline needs an established tank if you are not going to feed him much. Also, the tank must be large with 100+lbs of live rock for this to work. A tank as small as yours will not support a fish like this anyway no matter how established it is. He will wipe out the pod population within a few days. So...just feed him two or three times a day and he will be fine whenever you decide to add him. Be advised though that they use every inch of my 92 gallon tank. They are small but very active.
