I just ordered a 4 stage Barracuda RO/DI 50 gpd from AquaFX. I am thinking that my tapwater is average to below average quality (I get about 40 gallons per TWP cartidge currently and don't have any diatom problems). I have no idea what that translates to for TDS. Would it be worthwhile to run the RO/DI water through a TWP column, or is that just overkill?
Second question is: in order to get my wife's concurrance with this purchase, I had to get the drinking water kit with it (3 gallon tank and countertop spigot). Is it easy to rig a hose to this kind of setup?
So far, I can't complain about the AquaFX people--I got the system cheaper than I could find for an equivalent Kent Hi-S Maxxima 35GPD and the person that took my order was an engineer.
