I seek advice! I recently moved my tank 5 hours, taking all of the necessary precautions. I saved 75% of my water, kept lr submerged, bagged corals separately, etc.

After the move, all looked great for 2 weeks (corals open, fish eating, lively, etc.). Then, brown algae bloom, which was not a big surprise. However, after another week or so, my corals stopped opening, and I do not have any clue as to why... Here are my parameters, any suggestions or advice greatly suggested.

60 gal. tank
60 lb. live rock
remora skimmer, 3 power heads for circulation
PC lighting
4 fish
xenia, hammer, mushroom
asst. hermits, snails, etc.
temp. constant, etc.

Fish are still healthy, no problems. All tests are normal (calc., nitrate, pH, ammonia) alk was a little low, but buffer was added.

I do not have any other ideas, does anyone?
By the way, I did do water changes, and all water is DI...

Thanks in advance,
Randy

Sometimes it just happens. Periodically, my xenia and star polyps don't open for a couple of days, or a leather will close up and shed its skin before opening again. As long as your water is okay, I wouldn't worry about it too much, unless they stay closed for a while, then something might be wrong. Do you have your tank grounded? Maybe there's some current leaking into it.
