4 months ago I bought 2 perc. clowns. One became the larger dominant female the other male and all was going great between them except for the occasional lovers spat.
Then 1 1/2 months ago my husband introduced a neon goby to the tank. For the fist month the cute little guy, jumped around the rocks and frolicked on the power heads. But about a week ago he started riding the female clown like a bull rider on a bull (he obviously found some parasites or something good to eat).
The humorous part is that the female clown appears to think it's the male bugging her and she immediately starts a fight with him while the goby holds on trying to get every last nibble before jumping off,then he jumps back on a few minutes later to iritate her again.
My 5 year old son sits in front of the tank laughing as if he were watching an episode of The Three Stooges.
Hopefully the goby will finish cleaning the female before one one the clowns files for divorce.
