H. malu- 2 animals, 2 different foods

Questions-

I have 2 H. malu anemones. One will only eat frozen krill (and a stray chromis or two) . The other will only eat store bought tiger prawns with the shell left on (expensive diet!). Is it normal for two anemones of the same species to eat two different foods?

Greg,

I have seen it suggested that anemones make some "adaptation" to their diets based upon their environment. So, your two may have had slightly different places in the ecosystem where they were collected (although they're both crustacean-eaters).
