If you dont have live food (phyto and rots) dont even think of raising them. However you may notice that they will lay eggs on a regular basis and be able to try to raise a future brood :) My clowns layed eggs every 3 weeks and they hatched every 14 days on cue. Keep track of the days and youll have an excellent guideline you can almost set your watch to. If you dont have it i highly recommend the book "Clownfishes" by Joyce D Wilkerson

Congrats on your new reefer status ;)

Mine lay eggs and they hatch every 11 days, like clockwork.

You'll need a separate tank (5 or 10 gallon). Barebottom, airstone, heater, live rotifers and patience. In about 3 weeks they should morph and you'll start to see their colors.

Mine are the basis for a smorgasboard every 11 days :sad2:
