expanding a school

I have a school of coral catfish in my tank. Its really cool cause they take turns leading or use telepathy somehow because they all turn at once but i only have a small school of 3. Not really a school per say more a classroom but If i were to buy one more would it join the school or be left to wonder on its own? Also if i bought two or three more would they be their own school or make one big school. I want a slightly larger school maybe five

I now have two coral catfish in my tank, and some time ago I tried to add a one more of the same size. and it never seamed to school with the others. It lived for about 3mos a just died, of what I do not know. If you try to add more keep us posted to how things go.

Also question number two. I know they are venomous and was wondering if anyone has ever been stung? I couldnt be anywhere near a lionfish sting but is it even noticable

Hi,
When this one catfish died. I had to remove it with my hand because the net would not reach. and that sucker did stick me good, But no ill effects. But it could be from it being passed away.

Don't these fish get really big? How big of a tank do you need to keep 5 of them??
