Well in my years in this hobby I have never kept these guys, but I purchased a pair of them for my 7 gallon nano last week. Time for a new experience I figured.
I couldn't have picked a more perfect animal as the centerpiece for this tank. Having to feed them stars might not sit well with some, but it isn't expensive ($6.99 for a chocolate chip star) and one week on and one week off feeding should work just fine.
I just thought I would share that these guys are perfect for a nano, where they might bet bullied or eaten in a large tank. The argi angel in the nano ignores them, as do the emerald crabs.
These are extremely gorgeous animals!
Have fun.
