i thought all clowns go in carpet because i just got a pair of true (nemo) clowns and they seem not to like my big green carpet or the rbta but they do like my elegance coral. could it be because i have a false clown with them i dont know what to do

Clowns will host pretty much where they want to. No reason really its just what they do. Give it some time and hopefully theyll migrate over to the anemones.

different types of clowns are more attracted to different types of anemone. I can't remember which goes with which, but the info is online.

i kinda forced my clown 2 host an anemone when i had it... i put the clown with the anemone in ther same container and sure enough he jumped right in it...when i got rid of the anemone...i got a frogspawn and he hosted that right away...good luck...

its true i saw it.....lol...he has a 7" BTA and his clowns are hosting YELLOW POLYPS....hey croxx maybe u should remove the yellow polyps for a while and lure the clowns in the BTA....

My maroon ignored my green carpet for a while and chose a sebae anemone over it, but about a month after discovered it and is now in love and wont get out of it
