Anyone got any methods of hitchhiker crab removal besides baiting a glass or jar? I got three crabs in my last batch of live rock, two of which were
easily caught with the baited glass trick. The third bugger -- who has proved himself evil beyond redemption by scraping off and eating acropora polyps while I watched -- seems to be clever enough not to fail for the trap. He's avoided it for two weeks now, at least. I haven't gotten a good look at him, but he appears to be solid black and have a carapace a good 1.5" long, making him a bit bigger then most hitchhiker crabs.
I'm usually pretty easygoing when it comes to hitchhikers, but this guy needs to go
