Purple seastar (identification)

I have a lot of small purple sea stars in my aquarium!!! I just discovered them today, they are about 1/4 of an inch, maybe they are babies now... do you guys know what it can be? what they eat? I am a little bit worried because I just discovered small white rings in my xenias and I've read that some seastars feed on corals! Thanx
