I have a 29gal tank. Measures approx 30X13X18. What would be my best choice for water movement in this. I have a maxi-jet 1000 now and it makes to much current. Has anyone else set-up this size tank and what have you used?

Thanks
Harry

In my old 29 gallon I had 900 gph going at all times. If the current is too strong aim the PH at the glass or directly at a rock to disperse the stream. I have about 1300-1400 gph on my 55 gallon host anemone/reef tank.

Harry, it's really impossible to give you a good recommendation without knowing what you are trying or planning to keep. I keep two tanks that are half the size of yours. One houses mushrooms and polyps, the other sps. One flows 75 gph, the other 900 gph. The tanks are about the same size. Make sure you plan your equipment around the animals you want to keep, not the other way around.
