I have a 220 gal. reef tank. It has a very slight leak near the bottom corner. Every 2 days I get a salt buildup on the bottom corner of the tank. Any suggestions on how to fix this? I have no idea on where to start. I would think I have to empty the whole tank. I have nowhere to put all the live stock while I am fixing the tank. Do I have to buy another tank? I just need some ideas on what to do. I have to make this as easy as possible. Thank you.

Jim

Acrylic or glass? If it's glass, you'll need to put some silicone where the leak is. If it's acrylic, I would think you'd want to rebond the leak, although I guess silicone would work too. Other than that, you can't fix a leak while the tank is filled. Are you sure it's a leak? Could it just be a tiny bit of water coming out of the top of the tank and collecting in that one spot as it drips and dries?
