I've been kinda pondering about the ethics of reef keeping after being told that most are endangered. I wonder what the percentage of captive bred or propagated animals are. Anyone know?
Don't know the exact numbers but they are unfortunately much lower than we would hope. You can get a lot of good captive grown corals and even live rock but fish are proving to be more difficult. All the more reason to go slow and make sure that everything is taken care of ahead of time.
