I have spoken to many of you thru this board and thru the email system about the Dec 8th meeting for the NJ Reefer's Club meeting. This post is to inform you of all the details about the new facility. First I will let you know exactly what makes this facility so much more than some of the stores we have presently. Image if you will, a show tank that is 96" x 48" x 36". Big Tank comes to mind
, second Image if you can, 24 yes 24 180 gallon tanks loaded with corals. Lighting on these tanks are 3 400 watt 10,000k ushio bulbs with vho actinics. Forget about the size of their sump, swimming pool comes to mind. You name it they have, and if they don't they will get it for you. They will stock all top name brand products. Need Live Rock, they have 3,000 lbs curing in their 10 300 gallon vats. You want show size corals, corals bigger than your hand
they carry them too. what about you nano reefers. Well they haven't forgotten you either, they have small frag size all the way up to corals the size of a football. They carry SPS, LPS, and softies. They carry Clams as well. Their facility is 7,000 sq ft. of reefer heaven. their corals are healthy and beautiful.
Now where can you see this huge new place, They are located at 305 Jackson Ave in Hopewell Junction NY. They took a Barn and turned it into something spectacular. Pretty much like Gateway Computer. What's the name you ask. It is ReefSplendor. Now their coral and rock section is set-up. Twelve of the 180's just came on line last week, but should be well stocked in time for our meeting. they are not thru with their little venture into this addicting hobby of ours, They haven't finished their displays and right now do not stock many fish. If there is a fish or coral or piece of equipment that you are interested in, and you plan to come to the meeting, by all means when you email me with a comfirmation, then include that Item of interest and I will past it on to Dan and Joe and they will make sure they have what you want in stock waiting for you. They have a website up and running that does list the drygoods they carry. So if you wish to check out their site that address is www.ReefSplendor.com. I have had the pleasure to go to the store and visit with the owners and I fell in love right away. I have my eye on a couple of pieces already just need to move up to the new tank.
But this will truely be a great experience for everyone who attends. Now if you want to get into the door on the 8th I will need to have your name on my list.
sorry this is somewhat of a private party. The only cost is an email with your name and wants on it.
Want to be on the list. that's the easy part. Email Me at [email protected] and I will add you to it. In the future, any ventures to this facility, they kindly request that you phone ahead so that they can better serve you.
