Need suggestions about Oomed and flatworm control

I just got some Oomed and am hoping to use it to get rid of my flatworms. I have a few questions.

First, I got Tetra Gold Oomed (for goldfish) is this any (much?) different from "regular" Oomed? Has anyone used this? Per 100ml: Malachite Green oxalate 47.3 mg, Formaldehyde 4.86 g. Is this what others have used? Sounds nasty to me.

Second, does anyone know what dosage this needs to be used at? Should I run the skimmer.

I just oomed my 105 gal. with MarinOoomed, it worked fine, I did lose one chromis, not sure why, the other 4 survived. My mushrooms shriveled way up but look to be coming back now. I used 45ml and left it in my tank for 12+ hours, maybe a little long but it worked! The contents on the MarinOoomed package says it contains the following:
Hexamethy para rosaniline 75.7 mg
Quinine hydrochloride dihydrate 1261.7 mg
9-Aminoacridine hydrochloride monohydrate 252.3 mg
Benzyl dodecyl-bis-(2-hydroxyethyl) ammonium chloride 504.7 mg
