Hey All!

I just got my first skimmer, a 18 bladed Prizm for my 45 gallon FOWLR, and I cant figure out how to tune it properly. I dont know how high to set the bubbles in the riser! When I set it up, I can get the bubbles to not even be in the riser and i can set it so the bubbles overflow it, or anywheres inbetween. The bubbles are a foamy white froth, and when they spill over into the cup they cause the cup to fill with sea water in about an hour. Where and how should I set it up.

Help me!
Steve
PS: Its been running for about a day and there is still no dry dark foam, and the tank is heavily fed too!

I usually set mine to where the foam is about half way up the "tube". from there it will fluctuate up and down. this works best for me. it took about 2 weeks for me to figure out where it likes to be set.

hope that helps a little

Hey guys,

I set teh wet foam up about half way, and now I know its producing dry foam! The foam will appear and rise up until it sticks to the cup cover, and stay there
