anyone know a good method for getting rid of mushrooms? i have a bunch stinging the hell out of my acro colony. they must be killed so they don't come back. what is the best method?

please don't ask me to donate them to you. they're on the same rock as my acro - which i really want to keep.

I have heard that the concentrated kalk paste works, but it's very risky IMO if it's near a coral you like. I tried it on my blastomussa for aiptasia and burned one of the polyps a bit, but it did the job on the aiptasia. All except 1 were killed off completely. The flip side is the amount of kalk I ended up putting into my aquarium at one sitting.

if its the common mushroom anemone, then use a sharp scissor, cut it off while extended, and use a tooth brush to scrub off the remaining stalk.

I use concentrated hot kalk to kill my shrooms. You need to inject it into them, however, for it to work. Even then, it usually requires some mutation with your figures or a razor to permenantly remove it from your rock, as some specimens actually survive the injection.
