I know how to work with plexi. I did attempt raising brine 5 or 6 years ago I think feeding them was my problem. I have some inhabitants that love live brine but the closest place to buy this is an hour away. Any sites that have a good simple directions way to do this? Yes I want to have some one draw me a picture. Dale from Manchester NH.

I don't think you even need your plex knowledge. Just toss them in an empty jug or bottle, toss in an airstone, skim the empty egg cases off the surface once they hatch, and feed them some commercial brine shrimp food, or some gut loading stuff, or just feed them some yeast. If you get the chance, look at one of those sea monkey kits. That's what sea monkeys are, brine shrimp (another cruel joke on small children hoping for a pet monkey).

Try to get a copy of The Plankton Culture Manual, 5th Edition. It goes over how to setup the tanks, etc. Very informative...

Raising brine shrimp to adult is a labour intensive task, with low yield usually. After a lot of time experimenting, I've got up to acceptable yields now, but it's still a lot of work that I wouldn't do if I could buy live brine around here.
I've written of my procedures and have included pictures on my web site.

I think Athiel's sight and Brine Shrimp Direct have instructions for raising them.
