I currently have a 55 gallon tank w/ a trickle filter under the tank, holds about 10 gallons and is 24" long, 14" high, 8" wide.
One the other side I want to build another sump that will fill the rest of the void, to hold my skimmer, heater, DSB, pumps
It has to be
8" wide - that is the biggest I can get under there.
18" Long
and I want it like 20-21" High
I want to build it out of either Plexi glass if possible or I could do real glass or acrylic if it is not too hard.
What is the thickness of the material that I would have to use -
I also want to make a partition or two in it so I can have the DSB, and then have a spot for my pumps and skimmer on the other side.
Maybe someone who has done this could offer some advice - I need more water and more flow and that is the only way I can think to do it.
Yes I have Bio Balls,Tank has been up almost 3 years and still no Nitrate. hehe.
